Neuropeptide Mixture
BDNF Increase
Dendritic Plasticity
In published research, Cerebrolysin was reported to induce dendritic tree plastic changes and an increase in brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) in the amygdala of male rats (Cárdenas-Bedoya et al, 2025, PMID 40123021).
In a rat model of permanent middle cerebral artery occlusion, combined Cerebrolysin and nicotinamide were associated with neuronal changes in the hippocampus (Martínez-Torres et al, 2024, PMID 38734304). Cerebrolysin is a low-molecular-weight neuropeptide mixture.
